Well, that is definitely the best time for weather. They're the main summer months so it should be warm. 70-85 degrees.

It will definitely rain though, it does that a lot biggrin.gif

Your cell phone should work i think if it's dual or tri band, but i'm not really sure about networks or whatever, but you can get a sim card for a UK network for free and buy talk time pretty easily.

Internet i guess will be the same as US but with different providers.

Sussex is pretty nice. Some quite wealthy areas.

For the cell phone issue, make sure she has at least a Dual Band that uses SIM cards. Have her current phone company unlock it for international use. Actually a better way to put this is if her provider is T-Mobile or Cingular, she will be fine. There are places where you can buy SIM cards and "load" cards which act as a prepaid.

She could probably buy a PAYG (pay as you go) phone here for cheaper than it would cost using her US one! Tho we have pretty good coverage across the UK so if her phone'll allow it, she could roam quite easily on our networks. Internet isn't usually a problem, depending on where she's staying.

As for the weather, if it's anything like last year there'll be a week of nice weather in April, and then solid rain til winter... Oh well, we can live in hope wink.gif

Are you not coming to visit as well? It'd be some good GT-4's for viewing! smile.gif

If she has verizon, she can swap phones for overseas use. Its CHEAP, like 2 bucks a day MAYBE. My aunt did the same thing when she went to london, it worked out really well. Just tell her tocall her carrier, I'm sure they have protocol for these types of things smile.gif
