TRD94,
yeah, basically im having the same "issue" as you do. at idle it was running rich but lean out nicely to 11-12 ratio on boost. I was told its due to limitation on piggyback (im using emanage blue) but its ok with me

Jesus Christ... some of you guys need to go back to school.

QUOTE
so we tuned it to run 8psi and it would run good at idle and at full boost it would richen upto about 14:7 . that would be a ok tune for the setup you got .

14.7 under boost will blow your motor. You should be aiming for anywhere between 11-12afr.

this what im going to do im going to
1) install the 3sgte map sensor turn on my car see if anything is diffrent
2) im going to put the coupler the attaches to the intercooler from the turbo
3) what u mean by wideband? the air/fuel ratio gauge, yes i have that on the car is running really rich.

first of all, these should all be installed at the same time.

1) without it your car is not capable of reading boost properly
2) by leaving that off, that is how you destroy your turbo
3) a wideband is the one that reads your a/f ratio in numbers. anything else is useless.

Ok, first off.

WTF is your definition of choking? Is it:

A: Smells like gas because it is running far to rich

or

B: Lacking fuel because its lean with no tune.

Proper answer is B. Choking means you are lacking whats needed. However, it seems you are using A.

This is still irrelevant and refer to my last post in red. Install everything the way it should be, put the damn map sensor in and tow the damn car to the tuner.

your asking the same question over and over again. you need to stop looking for more answers and just do it.

there's plenty of information in this thread already, you need to go back and understand it all before you post again. I think everybody else should stop replying until you have something new to say.

actually, no point for arguing now. the best is, fix the goddamn 2bar map sensor and tow to the nearest reliable tuner. period.

hahahahaha this stuff is better than comedy central

i think he means 'that'

"that is what i plan on doing this weekend"

i think the afr should be discussed some more, not making fun, but this is very entertaining.

wish you luck with getting it tunned and up n running correctly. a project usually costs alot more than planned when corners are cut. when good plans are set and all the parts function properly, there should only be minimal expenses. seems like someone jumped into a project too fast. best of luck again with your setup and i hope you can maintain it well enough to enjoy it on a regular basis

Man you guys have all the fun here. Bro you need to turn the car over to someone who knows what they are
doing. You do not. I recommend you keep reading through all these post to get your knowledge up a bit. Everybody has to start somewhere, but your far from doing the job right. Why blow up your hard work?
