Hi I'm new to 6gc and just thought I introduce myself

I actually in the process of looking for a 6gc and I've been reading on the forum for some bit. I was wondering between the ST and the GT is there features that make them different, ie. Integra Type R have 5 lug instead of the regular 4 lug wheels from Honda. Also engine identification would be helpful to so i know wat i'll be looking at then i pop the hood so i wont be scamed buying an ST thinking its a GT. Anything thing else i should take a look at when im shopping around like common problems.

Thanks for your help

Also, from an outside visual standpoint - a stock ST will have drum brakes in the rear and a GT will have disc. Then there's the badge on the back - a GT -should- say GT on the back and an ST -should- have an ST badge or nothing at all on the right side of the trunk/hatch lid.
Before you buy tho make sure you are getting the engine in the lower picture above.
Hope this helps wink.gif

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.

IDK for sure but all I can say is I've never seen a GT with manual windows - and I've seen alot of 6gc's.

Generally speaking all GTs came with power windows/door locks. They made some STs with the same options but if it has crank windows it's most likely an ST. Just memorize those photos when you go look at the engine and if you get stuck just look at the throttle bodies. In my opinion they are the first and easiest thing to identify between the engines. The ST is flat and asymetrical and the GT is cylindrical (not to mention it should have a 2200 sticker on it).

"What?"
"Just do it."
".......He said yes."
"Tell him you are not darklings. He should open up."
".......Sweet. Thanks."
"No problem."

Isn't there a thing w/the VIN numbers too, between ST & GTs? I remember it's in one of the stickies.

Anyway, not all 7As have the sticker that say 7AFE btw, my valve cover looks just like the 5a valve cover. Notice the difference in the radiator hoses between the two... that makes them very easy to distinguish too.
