I had heavy winds up in my area as well today... Whenever its mass windy out my alarm is always going off left and right, then if its not covered, those damn pine needles cover it...

hahah fun story (that has nothing to do with anything basically) of the day since it was mass windy out today... when i was at work the wind flung open the back door (glass door keep in mind) and it struck the wall and shattered... I was sweeping glass for like an hour and a half laugh.gif

god almighty..u don't even know...i was with my dad in this wind storm,he lives way up in the mountains, near Kirkwood, the winds were at least 120mph(btw how to hell did u get 90 mph winds in the valley,ur full of it tongue.gif ).i had the celica parked under a tree when it started, but then i realized o crap something will fall on it,so i was backing up the hill(exposed hill) and the wind was so hard that it actually moved the celi about an inch right...OMG scared the **** outa me,i was on unstable gravel so it wasn't that big of a deal but it was scary as hell...then after the storm was over(well its really still not over)i went outside and the tree the celica had a branch break and fell right under it...im never going up there in a storm again...

there was a quite of few incidents where the wind blew over big rigs and they had to shut down the highway because of the accidents. i'm glad the storm is over.

Same thing in Oregon... semis scattered all over eastern Oregon throughout the Gorge that just blew right over! I even saw a FedEx truck on its side in a ditch.

I work for a pool service company, you know what I was doing that day?, I was ****in working In that storm! Complete bull****, I was pissed at my boss for haveing us work that day, I got hella sick too, almost over It now though, but man, I was pissed, cold, soaked within an hour of being outside, I did not understand the point of having us work, every customer was like, "Oh my god, your working today!? Thank you so much!" Then I'd reply, "Yeah, Im working, dont want to be though, this Is really dangerous." I mean, The wind was so strong, a branch could've broke off a tree, hit me In the head, knocked me out, and I could've fell In a poll, drowned and died, you know? Thankfully that didnt happen.

Had you cleaning the pool in the middle of a storm? Why? Its just going to be dirty again after you leave; with all the leaves and debris and tree branches falling and flying everywhere....
