Hey, got a quick question and figured someone here could help. Not too long ago someone broke into my car and stole my stereo. Problem is they tore out the left radio mounting brackets and now I have nothing to mount my new stereo too on the left side, it just falls over and it kinda sucks. Any ideas?

Get new ones?
I've got a set here - are you going to the Texas meet in Bastrop State park in Mar? I could hook you up with them then.

Thanks for the fast reply, but I wish it was as easy as getting new ones. When I said they tore them out, they really did. As far as I can tell, where the mounting brackets attach to the rest of the center console, thats missing a big hunk of plastic. Unless Im wrong, I have nothing to hook the new brackets up to, just a floppy vynil space where they used to be.

Thats what I got to work with, they took the bracket, the plastic that holds the bracket to the dash and jacked up the left side. Not to mention everything else damaged.
I was thinking epoxy and some plastic to put back in place?

Oh SNAP that's bad.
epoxy and plastic would be your only option IMO, unless you can find another 6 gen in a junkyard and cut out the peice your missing, then adhere that.

I would of bought an alarm before a new stereo, but that's just me.

Someone broke into my vert once they destroyed the dash and the stereo trying to get it out but never got anything. I ended up having to replace the whole dash (those bastards)
