True, usually there is that little "g" logo on one of the spokes.

Well, I might be wrong, I dont know for sure. The reason why i question it is because....

1. as far as i know, gram lights are supposed to be forged not cast. the chances of a forged wheel cracking would be very slim.
2. brand name stickers are missing from the front
3. that little JIC thats stamped on the wheel near the valve stem is normally stamped on the center part of the rim, on other gram lights that ive seen.

but who knows. they might be the real deal.
the best way to find out would be to put them on a scale. normal gram lights should weight about 15-17lb without the tire. if they are cast copies, they would probably weigh in at 20+lb.

either way, its a killer deal on a nice set of rims. smile.gif

i am going to have to agree with art, for an authentic gramlight to crack like that...

i would take them, but i just want to be sure that they are true gram lights. i could deal with the cracks

My Rays were stamped "Rays Foundry" and "Forged" on the outside of the wheel.

Rays made a 57c which was a cast (and therefore cheaper) wheel a little bit ago. They also made the 57f which is the forged design. While I can't comment on the authenticity of these wheels, its just some info for you guys.

they have rays stamped on the back of the wheel! I'm not saying people couldn't copy that, but those same people would get their pants sued off them if they did! i'm pretty sure they are real. the stickers on the face of the wheel are easily removable btw.

anyway, where on the wheels are the cracks? spokes, lip, barrell, etc.
