Looked like the ST205 was going to pull ahead at times, then the driver botched it up. Throw the Stig in to both, then redo it.

ha and thats in the rain too. see guys its not worth converting to awd after all. but yea it'd have to be the same driver in both cars. or so i believe that is what happened.

just comes to show that the extra weight of having AWD in a really tight track is a huge disadvantage, even with the extra power of the 205. the result would be different in a track with longer straights.

i think the st205 drive could have be done alot tighter, possibly forcing 1st gear, or clutch in hand brake, rev up and dump the clutch staying in 2nd.
perhaps the guy is too used to fwd , i know it's taken me many years to finally get the hang of driving the gt-four as a true all-wheel-drive vehicle, rather than it just being a traction control extension of the initial front drive characteristics. -------------------- Mike W
