Resonator's, HELP PLEASE Options

So here is the deal...I know I want one the question is how do I know what type to get and what length to get. I have the 1.8L power plant and comments/tips would be great. Right now I have a setup with a 4-2-1 Header which goes into a 2.25 collector to the stock system. I have sitting in my room a 2.25/2.25 high flow Mangaflow cat. and a Magnaflow muffler. Now from there I know I want a resonator for a more rich sound. I see that mangaflow makes some but I see some different types. There is a regular "resonator" then there is a "C/C" one. What is the difference between the two. Also they come in different lenghts as well, how do I go about choosing a length? I assume the longer the tube the quiter my exhaust will be. But does the Resonator also reduce flow/ performance. Last but not least the longer the pipe the deeper the tone or should I try to get the shortest one. Please help me out here; I'm not sure which way to go.
