would enyone know if a stock crank from a 4a-gze work in a 7a-fe? of coarse, I will call around and try to find one in town that I can compare to but I was just wondering if anyone knew the answer. the reason I want the 4a crank is because its forged. I know if you read my past couple of threads you will think im obsessed with forged parts but what the hell. anything worth doing is worth doing right.

thanks,
DB

I think the answer is NO.

However, for useful info. on 7a-gze conversion (7a-fe + 4a-gze), check out:

yeah, your right, the answer is no. I talked to a guy at Race Engineering today and they cannot match up my crank or connecting rod.

about the 7a-gze. I have read about 5 different sites on the head swap and its a great idea but if I cant do better than stock internals without resorting to custom crap then im not going to do it. the 7a sucks!!!

but the help is always appreciated.
thanks
DB
