hey all.
I am just about to boost my 7a, as many of you know. Anyway, I have managed to source sensors from the 3S, but what would work or does it not matter. He has both rev 2 and rev 3. Only posting here because i need to make a quick decision. Cheers Jason. |

ah ok thanks. I am running a SAFC2, but will use emanage at some point. So I guess I'll go for the rev 2. Also, will it just plug in or do I need the plug as well?
Many thanks. |

QUOTE(mikecelica @ Feb 8, 2008 - 5:20 PM) jus use check valves for the map check valves are for fish tanks, not turbo setups. use the 2 bar map from a rev 2 3s funky, (yes, it is plug and play.) you'll be just fine if you set it up and tune it properly. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

thanks guys. I will keep yo updated. I'm using a JSGTools manifold kit and T25. Lets see how it goes.
I havent got a wideband in the car, but the workshop does have a rolling road which i used to set up several SAFC2's and Neos. I will later change to emanage. This is just the beginning. |

im running 8psi on my stock map sensor, i tune my emanage with it and the car running great. but im a put th 3sgte map sensor to get the most power i can from my engine, but im a have to retune it.i think if you get a good tune you can run with your stock map sensor.

correct Mike. It reads vacuum. I think the emanage can manipulate this, though not 100% sure. I'm just gonna do the right thing by fitting a proer MAP sensor.
