i just got my coilovers, i wasnt wanting a massive drop, but how can i tell how low the ride will go?
i want to have everything set before i go putting everything back. any suggestions on safest and by safest i meen like i dont wanna rip my bumper off when going over speedbumps. even though i do plan on travelling smart by avoiding bad roads oh yea, im on the stock rims. with 215 toyos |

go as low as you want? coilovers are adjustable :woot:
just make sure you have your thread counts matched between your L & R side so you don't have a crooked sitting car. start with the lowest part of the spring perch about ~1-2" from the bottom of the adjustable range and adjust from there. guess what if its too low/high, jack up your car, reach in spin the perch some and wala! adjustability |

springs. coilovers are bouncy if you go cheap!

well it says you got them already but its a survey on which you want?
as for how much the car is lowered - take measuments on a flat surface (garage floor) or the height from the groun to the bottom of your front bumper, sides, and rear bumper - to be more accurate as far as the angles of the car, you can also measure to the support bar that goes under the engine, and also to where your rear suspension all ties together -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!

if you go with Ksport coilovers, they come with upper pillowballs

well the were 129 from a local shop....they didnt come with instructions though, the shop said they would do it for 150$ but ya know.
im in the middle of changing my clutch, so the front end is all but out ya know. ive read and read.....are these things goina mess my camber up bad? any tips will be very very appriciated. |

Woah woah woah woah. You got coilovers for $129? You didn't just get the sleeves did you? Please say it aint so . If that's the case, I would like to change my vote to Springs are better.

yea, they were cheap. ...they have springs with them
450 for front 350 for rear...if they means anything.they are alot stiffer then the springs on my jeep |

sounds like you got adjustable springs not coilovers. i wouldn't use the cheap adjustable springs if i were you. i would take them back. if you want to do it as cheap as possible but don't want to ruin your car you are still going to be paying around 180 just for the springs and everyone recomends that you replace your struts at the same time as the springs so add another 200 to that. real coilovers are going to cost way more than 150 dollars
