Just take the stock airbox out and put it on....it's not hard at all. Check out the how-to section.

yea dude, its simple. you'll need like a screw driver and thats about it. doesnt get more basic than an intake. unscrew where the airbox meets the throttle body, pop it off, pop out the o2 sensor, put the intake onto the throttle body, screw it down, pop the sensor into the intake, then have a cup of coffee cuz your finished. read the how to. if you can fill your gas tank, you can install an intake.

Its pretty hard to mess up your new intake unless you set it on fire. Just give it a go or ask a neighbour to help you out.

tranx.. The best advice you could get is before you go out and buy an intake, try removing your stock air box and intake and then putting it back on - Just to see how easy it is.
All you have to do is first undo the bolts holding the airbox (big black plastic box) to the chassis (you will need a socket/spanner set), then unscrew the clamp that holds the pipe that runs from the box to the engine (throttle body). Voila! PS. If you don't want to try installing your own intake after trying this, go pay for it! |

If you ruin your intake by trying to put it on then tell me because I want to know how you'd do that. Make sure the car is off when you install it.
