I've been producing trance and house music for about 10 years now. If your into this form of music check it out and tell me what you think.
You really have to be into this music to really appreciate it and like it. http://www.soundcloud.com/reintegration or http://www.soundclick.com/primero |

I used to be a DJ in London many moons ago playing mostly house & trance....first tune was a little boring...the second one was by far the best, the third one was OK.....although all of them are much better than I could do.

Check out dj Ripley, he plays in Nor Cal at underground events, he's the best I've heard for dubstep. -TC -------------------- Live your life for yourself. Don't hold back for anything or anyone.

So.... If you made these, how come there are artist names before the song? Anyways, I like the sounds of 2 and 3 from the first link. The first one sounds really hallow like it is missing a lot. IT has the right production sound, if it was made on something like an older version of Fruity Loops from 2002 - 04, but doesn't have enough supporting atmosphere which gives it a rather bland sound. The others are filled in pretty nice with better transitions, but then again, I am a fan of trance music with more going on in it. So I guess that is where the difference is in progressive to some of the other types out there. Very dj friendly though, I give it that as well.

Not bad, i like the Cherry Blossom remix, and the 3rd track is pretty decent.... but a little too 'proggy' for me if that makes sense
Here's a ton of sets from a prog trance legend from the UK, John Askew: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=4a7f6eb...c1826f09f8b2568 One of the DJ's i'll be seeing on NYE -------------------- |

Yeah the first one I made 5 years ago. The Cherry Blossom is a "remix" from the more trancy Marcel Woods's original mix. Rolling still I made 2 years ago on a rainy day. I haven't added any of my newer tracks. Everything I make is made on Sony Acid Pro. I usually make stuff from scratch or I'll make a remix to an existing song. I'm not saying I'm the best haha. Just wanted you guys to hear some of my tunes. This post has been edited by Tech-Nics: Dec 2, 2009 - 5:31 PM |

i like progressive metal...but i dont think im thinking the same thing.... Not quite, But I've always been a fan of speed metal, grind core, death metal, basically anything from Poland. Oh, and then some EDM on top of that. -TC -------------------- Live your life for yourself. Don't hold back for anything or anyone.

Just wanted you guys to hear some of my tunes. Have they changed Sony Acid Pro to where you can make your own songs from scratch? Because my experiences with it only allow you to patch together loops. Usually these loops are generated by one through Fruity Loops or Reason, and then later put together and edited using Acid Pro or Albeton or Cakewalk as a track. I asked, because the demo of Acid Pro 7 didn't allow me to generate loops, only piece them together with the ability to alter the dynamics of the loop/track. Before that, it was only Acid Pro 3 I was familiar with. yeah i have tons of wav files from a sound bank and i put them together. I only use Sony Acid Pro. I've been using this program since it was originally owned by Sonic Foundry between version 1-4 and then after version 5 Sony bought over Sonic Foundry and Acid started going by the name Sony Acid Pro. Ive tried a lot of other programs like cool edits pro, fruity loop...etc. Acid pro worked the best for me. Acid pro has down loadable sound banks too and also supports MIDI. very useful. My friend uses Pro Tools on his MAC. I dont like it.

Initial D music!!! wow no totally diff. genre of music. It's pretty good i would have to agree with random the first one doesnt transition very well and i like trance with more to it. But the others are nice, the ending of the third sounds like a song that I know but i cant think of it I have to go threw my music that I have and find it. IDK if anyones heard it yet but the new david guetta onel love album is pretty sick(sorry for the OT) This post has been edited by hatchy_gt-s: Dec 8, 2009 - 10:09 PM |
