I saw a post on this a long time ago. What I am trying to do is change the yellow/green LED's to blue lED's. I have a ton of LED's and resistors to make them into 12 volts. I have changed the bulbs for the knobs to LED's and they look and work great, but I cant figure out how to get the blue LED's to work in place of the yellow/green LED's that light up the little tab when the buttons are pressed. I put a volt meter across the prongs and I got 2.18 volts or something like that. I'm sure there is a post on this somewhere but I couldnt find it and I am looking for a little help.

resistors should only be needed if you're going to put a *led* in the place where a *bulb* should go.

if you're going for the leds under each button then all that is needed is to swap the led. don't put a resistor in and you should be good.

i bought 3mm blue leds at:
lsdiodes.com

and they worked really well. i had to give each on a few swipes with a file before they fit perfectly though.

not sure about the yellow light, that might be in the rear defrost button and might be a bulb and not a led.

I believe the post about the CC controls is actually in the How To stickies for this section... as for the LEDs, you have to solder them in place of the old ones. The amber LED for the front defrost position is w/the others, as is the one for the rear defrost if I remember correctly. I think the a/c LED is separate. All the LEDs are actually marked "LED" and the number 1, 2, etc. on the board when you take it out.
