Not sure if this is the right sections for this ahha. anyway this guy was telling me that if i get a paintjob like that candy orange i posted earlier that while racing (lets say on the track) that it will chip if any little thing hits is (bugs,pebbles,etc)

get hood and fender poweder coated , that ain't going to chip easily, your bumper will though..haha!

your also going fiber glass which can chip and pit also just like anything else im just taking it as it comes with the teritory and just keep some touch up paint handy

research a company called amour coat . they spray a clear layer on proctection on the car that protects it. new stuff and expensive probally but worth it if it protects a 2-3k paint job
the vid i watched was a race car jsut painted no protection, 5 laps later front was chipped like hell so it was rpainted and armour coat applied, they said they ran 2000 laps, paint didin have a mark havent seen this in person yet so who knows -------------------- |
