if you know somebody who knows how to do it (like a friend) its pretty affordable. I've thought about it but I lack the skills to do it myself. While it is apart I was going to add the "heated seats" feature to my car

I really would like them a lot..the cloth interior has some stains and the leather would look great with the dash and floormates...is it possible to take the seats from another car?

to me. just my opinion but i hate leather. its hot in the summer, cold in the winter and you slide around on it. so to me it wouldn't be worth it. but if you want leather. then i guess its worth it.

I have stock leather seats in my car and man, that sh"t burns in the summer. ..and yes, I glide around in it a LOT. I love it though because they're easy to clean & look a ton nicer than cloth seats.

i have leather seats. the problem is that getting in and out will eat up the driver-side shoulder. when i got my car there was already a tear in the leather.
so i got neoprene seat covers. looks good, high durability. doesn't breath so well so you sweat more in the summer though. personally i'd stick with the cloth, there seem to be pro's and cons to either. if i were going to spend money on seats i'd try to find a aftermarket seat i liked. i hear you have to get some custom brackets made, but there should be a few threads on here about doing that. |

QUOTE(nyawton @ Feb 21, 2008 - 12:04 PM) I think this looks like a reasonable option http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1994-1999-T...sspagenameZWDVW Possibly summat im thinking about for the future! Please let me know your opinions , Cheers I've seen those on there too, they look to me like a great option but I don't know anyone who's gotten those covers, so it's hard to say. If you wind up getting them though, you should start a thread on it or something w/how-to pix (better than on the ebay page at least!). Looks like a good deal for those to me, but it's so hard to know w/out seeing them in person! -------------------- |
