Wow thats fast! but like.. it's a 2jz in a celica body converted to RWD, so it's like not a Celica anymore laugh.gif , just the shape. But still wow. What is considered "Street"?

i think it just means that it still has all the legal safety stuff. kinda like a nascar cars isn't street legal.
i also heard that the horsepower need to be under 1,000hp because it starts to literally "tear up" the roads. atleast thats what the 2000hp nelson racing engines have to be turned down to when driving on street. plz correct me if i'm wrong....

The worlds fastest Celica ran somewhere around 3.9xx in the 1/4.
It was 2UZFE [4.7V8] powered.

thats a good question. i have always wondered how these HIGH hp cars dont have much wheel spin and just grab the way they do (i know they burn out to heat and sticky the tires, and have special slicks on as well as a track with adhesive on it) but still! they grab so well!!
