I've been looking at a few Japanese TRD sites and I keep seeing the term "Sportivo" on several of their cars. At first I thought the Sportivo was a car in itself. Then I noticed most of their suspension components are labeled "Sportivo" for several different cars. So now I'm wondering exactly what TRD Sportivo is? Anyone know? I couldn't find an answer.

I see. But why do they have door sills for a Toyota ist (Scion xD) that say TRD Sportivo? I guess that's what has me confused. See link: http://trdparts.jp/english/parts_interior-door.html

Very nice. Now I'm convinced that anyone with minor fab skills can add that to their 5S or 7A and with the right fuel mods/control - can make nice HP. I'm sure some of you will disagree - but think about it. This is basically a TRD logo'd generic SC - fitment wouldn't be much more difficult than adding an extra alternator with a custom bracket. Hell if you can live without a/c you could probably make an adapter bracket and drop it right in [needs another bracket on the other end obviously]

yup, it's just a vortech v5 f-trim. im sure you can get a smaller one and custom fit it into a 5s. lots of modification though. you really have to want a supercharged car. lol. just because the turbo would be 10x easier compared to that. thanks for the compliment.

do you guys think i can get away with putting a "TRD Sportivo" emblem on my Scion tC? or is that too rice? lol. i know how some of you guys feel about this, but considering i have every TRD option, even some not designed for this car (boost gauge, transmission cooler, etc) except for wheels and big brake kit from the 7th gen up front, would this be ok? cuz i have the "TRD Supercharged" logo that comes with the supercharger but i kinda like people not knowing that im supercharged. and if i just put "TRD", it still looks plain. something like this is what i had in mind...

Just do it - you've earned/bought the right. i just think it's rice when people [probably over half of this site - no offense] slap a TRD on their car and they don't have one single TRD mod except the damn sticker. Your car deserves it and anybody with half a brain at TRD would be happy to have your car advertising for them.
BTW - I totaly agree with you on the no FI badge on the exterior - I'd get rid of the Turbo badge if it wasn't so damn pretty -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
