If he's trying for that oe look then the tank is a must it fits perfect and he can still have a spare tire... he'll need to move to bolts for the straps to line up though noting big

Like I said on the last page, I allready have a gas tank I got from a ST165 for $25.
I'm getting rid of the spare tire well and closing it off with sheel metel.
I'm going to use the straps that came with the tank to hang it under the car.

Were there ever GT-4 verts made? If not, you'd most likely be the first to have one.

The first ever GT4 was a convertible....a 165...but as far as I know only one was made to go around the car shows....after that they were all hatchbacks.

If you are going Custom, there is some hacking involved.
Plastic wears out too. Gas is quite a solvent.
None of the swaps I have seen with a fuel cell look at all well done. thumbsdown.gif

I would say a Real gas tank is the way to go.
Or spend the time and money to do a Custom AL and make it look decent.

Any other progress photos TheMadScientist ???

Never form the factory, except maybe a concept or a show car ?

There have been some custom jobs. Such as a 5th gen
Rear sub frame..

From Switzerland or Austria ? It has been posted before...

I did, I just forgot that you had the hatch since there's already a couple GT-4 conversion threads...and I automatically looked under your SN...not that big of a deal.
