no you have tune your car, if you dont your car can run very lean or very rich which will cause a blown engine, and you dont want that.

Wow... Ummmm you CAN just put it at whatever psi you want and hope for the best if you have expendable funds and like a blown engine. Yes you need to dyno tune it. Dyno tuning is the perfect way to safely monitor the performance and adjust your fuel curve to play nice with your boost. Do not turbo until you have money set aside for a dyno tune right after the turbo setup is done.

It worries me that you ask that. You may want to do more research before you attempt to turbo. There is a sticky somewhere on turboing a 7a isn't there?

Yes and no.. You sould get some civic d16 injectors and wedge them in held on by zipties (civics are fast we all know that) as far as the stock manifold C Clamps... and Down pipe.... you dont need it. Less back pressure plus it'll sound tight. Who needs high flow cats... laugh.gif

I wasn't joking or making fun of ll_kingklick_ll, I was actually refering to a personal joke between shannon and me.

with that said, read the stickies about turboing, it's not as simple as you might think. It takes a lot of research and knowledge to turbo without killing your motor.

what fmu and injectors are you going to use ?

dont even think about the fmu, not very good. atleast use a safcII with 370cc injectors. you can use probe turbo injectors but , i would get a good set of rc injectors.

you can use an fmu but cant go over 7psi...but to get the most power out of your engine use bigger injectors..like the probe injectors, rc injectors, or lime top green supra injectors, supra injectors fit right into are harness, so thats a good way to go. and no matter what you still have o tune your car. before even puttin the turbo in, you should have money save up for the tuning.
