i want to swap a 3rd gen 3sgte turbo on my 96 toyota celica st.....but need to no what i need to do a good clean swap....and what transmission do i need for a front wheel drive 3sgte..i heard i need a mr2 turbo transmission 91-93,

You can use the tranny from the celica GT's too. You should do some reasearch man. The stickies will tell you everything you need.
