I found a company in Japan that is willing to ship parts directly to me rather than going through a distributor here in the US that marks up list price and charges double shipping and a few other random charges.

They only accept wire transfers. No, this isn't one of these scam companies. It's a VERY reputable Japanese tuning company. So I would like to know what is the cheapest way to transfer funds from my personal US bank account to their Japanese business account. I already tried Western Union and they apparently don't do wire transfers to Japan.

Be careful man... Anytime someone asks for a wire transfer, its almost always a scam.
If they are a legit business that deals with online sales, they should have no problem taking paypal.

They work directly with Toyota. Like TRD. I spoke with guys at their headquarters. I guess you can never be too careful. I'll find out if they can do PayPal. If they can't, does anyone know the cheapest place to do wire transfer, besides my banks $50 rape-charge?

Most manufactures that deal directly with toyota wouldn't sell to you unless have a resellers license. Once you get one, they normally do payment via purchase order (PO). Whats the name of the company, and how much are you planning to send them?

I know someone at Tachi Oiwa Motor Sport that is willing to sell to me individually. I'm not going to be a reseller, it's only $125 worth of stuff that I'm getting for now. That's why paying my bank $50 for a wire transfer doesnt make sense to me.

You got it from TOM'S? Do you remember who you spoke to? Cuz that would cut down the price tremendously cause they were charging me an additional 2500 yen for the transfer fee on their end. And I think I was speaking to one to the owners.

there is no way around it, transfer the money from your bank to theirs, western union is the cheapest way but not too many legit companies take western union as a form of payment, and I guess even if it's a scam US$175.00 ( after wire transfer cost ) to find out it's not that bad lol
