back to those seat covers, has anyone gotten those ebay leather seat covers? Options

if they truly are seat cover replacements for OEM ones, it will take a bit of work to replace them. there's a how-to on here on how to replace your seat covers here.

also note: if you're planning on switching from fabric seat covers to leather seat covers.... read

Notes:
Foam from leather seats and fabric seats are slightly different. The bottom portion of foam on the fabric seats is about 1 inch shorter and does not have this flap:




Also, the foam "shoulders" of the fabric seats is a bit shorter and do not protrude out as far as the foam on the leather seats.

^ yeah, but that's only applicable when switching from OEM fabric to OEM leather. Since these covers are aftermarket, I'm not so sure the above would apply.

^ maybe you can ask for a sample of the leather used? they prob use the same leather on all the seats they make.

The guy told me the leather looks just like vinyl... like i didn't know that. Which still didn't answer the question of if they will make it in vinyl!!? I'm not about to drop 300 on 2 seat covers.

anyway, as I recall, often the auctions close at way less than $300. I believe I've seen them close as low as $100. I bet if you bought the whole set for that, or less than $300, you could sell the back covers to someone on here.

BTW I don't think these are your typical "seat covers" - in the little pix on their sell page, it looks like these are actually slip-on upholstery. They're installing them over seat foam in the pictures, and using a heat gun I'm guessing to activate some kind of adhesive on them or something? IDK

Sorry, quick thing– I was looking at the link they sent you and that one closed at 202.50 w/Reserve Not Met. I still think I've seen these close at less w/no reserve. But I was reading the description again:
