so my efforts of trying to save the panel from the sun are in vain for the past year since I got my Celi. Apparently the previous owner neg ligated Armor All on it and now its fading to a yellowish color.

any suggestions on how to to fix that? was thinking about removing it and painting it blue to match the rest of the interior.

I have the same problem, it must be the Florida sun. I used some black shoe polish, just rubbed it on and shined off the excess. It matches the dash color almost perfectly, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference!

armor all or any other protectant won't work at this point cause its like the actual die or top layer of material that seems to be flaking off. Hope this helps ya!

No, it looks like a hooker put her acid vag on your hood. Acid vag = bigger problem than a few dings.

FYI--after working on the dash, I noticed that the passenger air bag "door" (the official name for it) is not actually vinyl. It's hard plastic that is just painted. This probably explains why it always looks different from the rest of the vinyl covered dash. I test painted a junk "door" with some dark gray automotive primer, and the color matched perfectly. Black seemed to be too dark.
