Ok i just installed new tein and kyb's, front is making clunking noise like pop clunk. From what ive read the strut mount might be shot, or the bearing was not properly greased, or the strut mount did not seat properly in the groove. Now the noise i guess is the spring rotating when i turn at slow speeds binding then coming unbound and popping. I need to know if this is a problem because i am goign awway for a week and i need to use my car. If unfixed will this cause major problems or is it just a nusense right now the sounds and all but will be fine if i fix it when i get back please let me know Asap.

Got the same thing at the moment after lowering 40mm. My guess is either overtightening the top nut or not greasing adequately, or a combination of the two. Will go at it on my days off to see if it is indeed the case - hope you get yours sorted mate.

I am hopefully going to try and regrease everything this upcoming weekend hopefully it gets rid of this. The sound has gone from the popping to now just a creak but only when the wheel is turned. when the wheel is straight there is no creaking, I think it is just the spring movement along the rubber of the top mount because of lack of grease? im hoping greasing will correct this.

I get the rubbing noise from my front as wheel. Only when I turn. I really think its the sprinigs that are trying to get seated in correctly. Not sure though.

Oh, if its a clunking its the strut mounts. If its a poping, its the springs not being seated properly. Just grease up your strut mounts and see if that changed anything. If not, invest in soe strut mounts.
