hello,

when i first bought my 6th gen the brake light was on in the dash. upon further inspection the brake fluid was nearly empty. when i filled it up the light went off. at that point it would only be on when the ebrake was up. just today the light came on again. i checked my fluid and it is at the max fill line. could this come on from low pads? my car does fade a lil when i brake hard and dont have good hold of the steering wheel. i dont have money for new brakes right now but i dont waant to wear out my rotors. if all i need to do is pick up new brake pads and i may be able to put them on myself i may be albe to afford this asap cause i definetly dont wanna put uneeded wear on my cars brakes.

It could be a leak in the lines. Have some press on your brakes and you do a visual check to see if there are any fluid leaks. Also I had to replace the brake booster in my s-10 last weekend and that's exactly how it acted.
