You probably damaged or disconnected one of the wheel speed sensors....

I've just got exactly the same issue! It occurred upon installation of my new clutch! The garage fitting it (A respected suburu motorsport garage) said that they probably accidentally knocked the sensor whilst removing the axle.

We ran a test drive and concluded that only the drivers side ABS was working! So we disconnected both of the sensor lloms, easily done in the wheel arch area, and both a voltmeter accross the terminals the drivers side gave a signal when spinning the wheel, whereas the passengar side didn't.

Basically a broken ABS sensor that was probably broken when I had the CV boot done as 6months ago as a few other dodgy signs of bad workmanship cropped up on the same axle.

Im going to try the diagnostics approach, clear the codes etc tommorrow, but the battery was off for half a day today and didn't solve anything. So I reckon it has to be faulty sensor.

In your case you just got to find out which one is faulty and replace it I reckon! Try it!!! And post back your results! wink.gif
