Ok, so I just thought I'd say this, cuz it makes me happy. I just installed a TRD Quickshifter in my ST the other night and I must say, I love that thing. I got it for like 180 off carpartz and it came with the knob (which is sex). Not only can I shift faster but it feels tight and secure and basically makes the car feel new again.
Big thanks to Coomer for the how-to write up. Anybody that doesn't like how their celica is shifting, I highly suggest one of these little gems. -------------------- "He won't come out of the bathroom. He keeps telling us we're dark somethings and not his friends."
"Hmm. Ask him if he's the dragon reborn." "What?" "Just do it." ".......He said yes." "Tell him you are not darklings. He should open up." ".......Sweet. Thanks." "No problem." |

For any of you who have installed a TRD Quickshifter, do you find that when you release the e-brake your hand hits the shift knob?

I'm about to do my clutch and flywheel, this would be really cool to have... -------------------- |

i heard they are kind of rigid when shifting into the gears...i heard they are great but when you shift it's kind of rigid...hard to explain...not really a luxry feeling...but then again i guess it wasnt designed to be put into a luxury car

It has what I would call a "positive" feel like you can almost feel it slip into a notch or something. I've owned both the 7th Gen one and now 3 different TRD ones and I can without a doubt say the TRD one is by far the better shifter. Can't beat the availablity or cheapness of the 7th gen one but there is nothing like authentic TRD products.
