Okay, pics are coming on sunday.
As most of you know, i'm a new dad, and any existing dads would know; baby's are a pain in the hassle when your doing somthing and they need constant attention. ESPECIALY durring feeding time, right? So i've built a "Baby Self Feeder" And i'm going to fiberglass it over this weekend; so that it's 100% safe. Just gotta burp her when it's done. BAM! Baby feeding time just turned into 20 minitues of supervising fairly-free time. Because i'm a fcuking genus. -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! QUOTE(CelicaST_CALI @ Mar 12, 2008 - 9:57 PM) does this require any type of rubber nipple??? no, it holds any bottle you put in it, and is suspended from the top of her "bouncy-chair" mobile. I've built a locking mechinism to keep it from bouncing on the stand of the mobile, Then i've devised this self feeding item, that hangs from the arch of the mobile, Completely secure. It Also swings&piviots so that if baby turns her head or spits the bottle out, it goes out, plus there is a small spring attached to a second arm that slowly pulls the bottle away from the baby if she isnt drinking the bottle. So it feeds her by herself, and if she stops feeding for any reason, the bottle automaticly moves back about 6 inches or so as to not be in the baby's face. i should patent it, but if sold, someone will leave the baby alone with it and if an accident occured, than i'd be sued. You still have to watch the baby, no amout of feeders, cariers, or other crap can keep you from being responsible for you own child. lol. That's why it's called PARENTal Supervision This post has been edited by D-Man: Mar 21, 2008 - 11:38 AM -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! Hey, Look; as an existing mom, you already know that 20 minitues to eat your OWN food is a luxuary that you dont get. Mommy is happy because she now has a window of opertunity to GRUB DOWN lol, without having to interupt her dinner (provided that we eat fast) And most already know that once i start on a plate of food, there is no stopping the machine. lol. So we finaly get to eat without play "hot patato" with the baby and plates. I never said this was a way to pawn off the baby, just a way to free up your hands for a few min. i'd build a booby holder, but i cant design one that dosen't require my own hands
Besides, i'm not building a line of baby products people, lol. I'm just fabricating "mommy free-time" That may be the only benifit to being stuck with me, is that i can design and build whatever we cant afford... I wish i had pics of my old trailer, before i moved to katy. It was insane. I had a 2 story garage attached to it. (second story was a game room) And the living room was a movie theater. lol. had a tv mounted into a fiberglass stand that held the xbox and game cube; just it was crazy ya'll. Can't wait to get out of this freakin apartment, so i can get back to my work. Keep in my what i'm saying is all MY OPINION.
This is by far the most retarded thing i've EVER heard of. I swear people should have to fill out paperwork in order to have children. Children are work PERIOD. If you are that lazy then you shouldn't have children. A child is not a dog that you can get an automatic feeder for. What if he spits up? What if he chokes and you're in another room having selfish you time. I think when you have a child you give up a lot of your free time. I'm sure it sucks sometimes but trying to invent ways to get out of spending time with a baby and feeding it seems very inhumane to me. Children require attention and love shoving them in an automatic feeding chair does not give them either of those things. I could go on all day about why this is retarded, but to keep myself from becoming too insulting i'll stop here. -------------------- Buy my Celica $2,500 - http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0

I am not saying that you can put the baby in this thing and walk away. NO! you can not, the baby must be right next to you, just like if you put the baby in a play crib, or in one of those roller chairs, you Still gotta watch the baby. You dont leave the baby by itself, plus when the bottle is empty you still have to burp the baby. (haven't invented a burper yet.. lol, just kidding.) And people like me dont really have any busniess with a baby, but here we are... lol. Love her to death, but man, we gotta eat sometime. And supersprint: "eye Kant Spel rite" I'm a master of fabrication, not lititure. lititure.... lit.... Wrighting! well, not the master like the guy in starwars, or a master like He-Man... A master like... like, uh.... ya know? I just like inventing things. That's all. Just some old dope that has fun with his hands. *EDIT* inregards to the baby, you NEVER leave a baby by itself. i dont care what contraption you got it in. And Babys ARE work. LoL. They are.... They are... and their also not about to let you sleep either This post has been edited by D-Man: Mar 13, 2008 - 10:19 AM -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! I think it's actually a pretty good idea. I get what you're saying about it not being a device to allow you to be lazy or just leave you're child alone so you can do whatever. That is NEVER a good idea. I am curious to see what it's going to look like and how it actually works..powered by electricity..?

I am curious to see what it's going to look like and how it actually works..powered by electricity..? No electricity, nope. I thought it would be a good idea to run a positive current to a motor constant (+) on and a negative (-) current from the battery source to the baby's toe so that it transfered the current to a wire on the bottle to the motor to hold or move the bottle; But a baby isnt a chassis so i decited not to do that.... KIDDING im just KIDDING!! no, electricity seems like a bad idea with a baby. Although i have got a great idea to run a cheap-o head unit to the storoler to run off of a bike generator on the wheel; using a small 12v batt to retain charge. But it'd still needs speakers I have the rest of the stuff laying arround. Cant wait till baby gets old enough for her first "power-wheels" I understand cars, it's being bottles and changing diapers that i dont understand. Think i'm getting the hang of it though. -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! Damn D-Man - most impressive. babys are work but you know what? when they get to be 5 ish your going to regret saying come on hunny say something! Da da! hailies mouth never stops shes ms talking queen! Its cute when she sings tho lol i think it is a good idea as long as the baby is never left alone! especially parents with younger children, you rarely get a break....try having an infant and still going to school/work THATS FREAKIN hard on your system, but you love em anyways!!! as for power wheels....omg hailie loves driving, ive got her brainwashed as to what is a good car and what isnt, she can spot out mazda, toyota, honda, pontiac and ford...shes getting better everyday....shes going to have her first car built before she can drive it I CANT WAIT! feen This post has been edited by speedfeen: Mar 13, 2008 - 11:13 AM -------------------- FEEN |

I can see this being a good idea when you're trying to eat dinner or something, then you can all eat together! I know that especially in those first few months, it's damn near impossible to get an actual meal in.
Anyway, D-Man is a genus too, Eric. (even if he can't spell for sh*t) -------------------- |

now that i think of it...
everything has made our world easier... just one example bread maker ppl back in the day would be like WTF!!! why make your bread in a bread maker?!!? same thing with everything else....thats why our society is gettting lazier and obese faster and becoming dependant on other things to live our daily lives....thats how inventors make a living....what can i produce that will make ppl happier and make things more effiecient/faster? Never the less it but with the way things are going... we wont have to wipe our own asses in 1000 years ! just an example!!!
