Shane already called me regarding the issue. I explained to him the proper mounting locations and safety issues involved with the installation.

azn87. I think it is best that you wait until you get your recaros put in. Or atleast buy brandons set of Brides. I told Shane that it would be best to use a harness bar, but.. it's Shane. The harness is supposed to be there to save your life, not make it worse. So just be sure to do it right because it's not something that you should just bolt anywhere. If you still have not installed the harness by the time I move up there, then I will assist you with it when I arrive.

The treasure island meet? I'm sorry, but I really don't think that I will be attending it. It just came at a bad time. For 2 years I haven't seen my mother, and had told my family that I am planning to be out of town that weekend, and that I have already taken off work. And out of every weekend she chooses, she chooses the only weekend I had planned to be out of town. So family comes first man. I'll be moving up there so you definatly have more of me than you can handle. Wait.. actually if you can put up with Shane that much, then I won't be a bother at all wink.gif. Sorry, I bash on him a lot, but it's cool, I'm just joking, we're homies smile.gif.

Hmmm.

4 point harnesses are bad ideas. Add at least a 5th crotch strap. If you are in an accident you will slide underneath that damn belt and be in worse shape then would have been.

4 pt harnesses are perfectly fine if mounted correctly.
use WITH a harness bar insuring CORRECT angels........DO NOT mount them to the rear seat belt mounting locations.

Also try reading the STICKIES....there is lots of IMPORTANT information in there about seats + harnesses
