If anyone has changed the gaskets on thier engine and replaced the upper oil pan gasket, please let me know where to find it. I have searched Pep Boys, Advance, Napa, and Autozone and none of them stock this item. All they have is the lower oil pan gasket.
It seems everyone expects you to just use RTV, which I will not do no matter what. The only place I've found it is on ebay in a full engine gasket set. I dont really need the whole set only the one piece, and after emailing all of them, none of them will sell it seperately. Help please. |

why not just use gasket maker? i'm pretty sure thats how it comes from the factory. every toyota oil pan i've dropped has been sealed from the factory with just silicone sealant.

there isn't an actual gasket there. you have to use the Toyota FIPG (form-in-place-gasket)
