im looking into buying a 94 ST that needs a new engine, and i was wondering how much it would take to swap the old GT engine from my wrecked celi into it. like the tranny, etc. any help is appriciated.

it would take everything in the engine bay, including the trans, motor, axles, wiring harness, powersteering stuff ect.
not worth it in every way.

Well you already have the GT motor and all the stuff, right? It'll take a little more time and doing, but cheaper.... but putting in the 1.8 would be easier.... just depends on how much work you wanna put into it v.s. spending money on an engine that you don't know the history of

i just wanna do the easier for now. i am going to get teh engine looked at in teh st before i make a final decision. it may just need a new head. or be rebuilt.

If you have a donor car with the trans, motormounts, axles, etc.. It would be pretty simple. You would just need to drill a hole for the pass side motor mount.

that, and some lines for the power steering.
ST GT are diffrent.
