Picture posting limit Options

I see Coomers online, so maybe he will notice this.
Can we raise the number of image links that is allowed to be posted in a single post? Its annoying to have to split up your links into new posts just to get it to work without getting the error msg that you posted too many.

i break mine into groups of 9 i think?

then if i have 20 pics to post, i post 9, hit the fast reply and post 9 more, then again for the last 2 and it adds them all into one post.

most ive done that way i think is like 30 some

could implement a system that mods can enforce, if posting more than 5 pictures... put a warning in the title about having lots of pictures? or 56k beware etc. and those who spam, or dont follow, thread gets corrected, locked, deleted.

i agree but i did up my whole post...spilt it, posted it...then copy and cut and paste and then when I was all done it posted it into a whole post but then if i wanted to change something in it then i go to complete edit it says ..... too many pics i was like ARGH! and just left it with no change ..... it took me like an hour at least to JUST re-arrange my patch thread ....

there's a way to bypass it.. sort of. i've done it on most of my how-to's.

you first have to essentially prepare your entire post by previewing them section by section up to the point the system says you have too many pictures. copy that section into Notepad or something then start preparing your next section.

when you're finished, you have to post the 1st section of your post.
wait about 15secs-1min and click on "FastReply" and paste the next section of your post and post it. as long as nobody replies, your recent post will simply add to the end of your first post.

then keep repeating this until you're done.

yeah there is a bug that lets you work around it...so the whole pic limit ends up being pointless.

like feen said... if you need to go back and edit anything... you;re screwed because of the picture limit. would be nice if it wasnt there.

why is there a limit in the first place? bandwidth?
