I've been here since 8am, and am still here.... takin a lil bit of a break off and on right now cuz of max hours allowed to work in a day...... I hate being stuck in a nursing home till 12:00-12:30 because of having to conduct stupid inservices and fire drills..... Gotta be here @ 6am to conduct more inservices and wont get off till about 4:30pm. Urg! I hate living 1-1.5 hrs away(doing the speed limit anyways) from work. I miss my bed and can't wait to have my 1:15am dinner lol. I'm SOOOOOO bored and this sucks

I love these threads . Hang in there. So what is it exactly that you do all day for work?

I'm a maintenance guy at a nursing home at the moment. The job isn't all that bad, it's just the people(mainly staff) make it like its worse than high school with all the gossip, backstabbing, and crap talking all the time. Job kinda sux too..... I really need to get back to school but, 4 more months before I qualify for in-state tuition here again. I'm practically salivating waiting for that opportunity again.

Dude, go put your damn resume out then. log onto monster.com or yahoo.com hotjobs, get a news paper, find something you like.

And your next job, DONT become friends with anyone. dont try, dont care. Goto work, do your job, get your check, go home. Then do it again the next day.

That's all a job should be, you start making friends then all this schet happends and then people sound like you with your "back-stabbing" and "drama" BLAH~ i dont care for any of that crap. Go, work, pay, home. Thats it.

I diasagree just a little bit. My summer job isnt all that great ( i dont consider working in -10 degrees fun), but the people i work with make the job that much better. Everyones friends with everyone, and even though the labor is tough, it still makes the day go by faster.

I'm a sales rep. at 2 furniture stores and it's boring and sucks like F*** because i also do a lot of the labour work and also on-call for delivery assistance.
It only gets fun when there's a family w/ a pretty daughter that comes in because when i'm not talkin to the people actually lookin at furniture...eehhh.....anyhoo but yeah that doesn't happen everyday.
AND what i hate most are the people who are simply retarded, when I say this piece is goin for $999.99, don't ask for "Okay, how about $600? C'mmmooonnnn no tax, I pay cash."....like wtf is wrong with you?! The owner doesn't even make that much profit most likely, how'm I supposed to get paid?...anyhoo that was my rant.
Just letting you all know, marketing sucks. I wanna go into finance now.
