Hey, folks...

Just wondering - the wife saw some wheels she really likes, unfortunately, the smallest size is 19x8.5.

Has anyone out there played around with putting this size on a non-lowered, stock suspended GT?

Thanks in advance for the pointers...

I used to have 18x9 alloys on a standard setup so I dont think you would have any problems with the depth...height wise?????

that would look like a 4x4, and your speedo will be off.

Height-wise, 19's will fit depending on your tire profile. But Playr158 is right, it would look like a monster truck (especially on stock suspension) and also your ride quality will decline.

they will fit, if you prefer the large wheel look then go for it... but as an fyi... a wheel that size even with oversized tires to fill the rest of the wheel well... you're stil looking at a max of like 235x30/19 tires... which that ride is going to be horrible. prolly end up bending those in a hurry after hitting a nice pot hole.
