HI Guys,
I am interesting in installing Air conditioning in my 95 Celica GT and I have been getting all sorts of responses from the Toyota garages. The best one I heard is that they dont make the gas for the 95 celica air con kits any more and you cant fit a newer kit to it.????? Does anyone know if this is possible and the best place to get this done ? Thanks in Advance! |

true, you can not get the R-12 freon anymore, but it can be converted to R-134 easy enough. Check around, there may be an aftermarket or dealer installed A/C kit still around, (if they actually made one in the 1st place) or get ALL the required pieces from a wrecked Celica, Compressor, brackets, pulleys, Condenser, Evaporater assembly+ under dash parts, controls, hoses etc...would be a lot of work, but it is possible...I once bought a Mazda w/o factory air and bought the dealer install kit over the counter and had a mechanic friend help install it, he had done plenty before, so it only took a day, saved about $600.
