My bf dumped me... and now I have meet some new friends and was wondering if You can help me over come the slight attitude problem that my boyfriend sort of instilled on me...
My 94 Celica ST is back to stock condition... No kit or what not on it... I am on a budget and am think about putting about 5 or 10 thousand into my car... I want my car to be classy but not where I can't drive it down dirt roads and have fun at the local tracks and all... I have change my signiture... and that basically says what I want in my celica st auto coupe... I love my automatic and think it is fast enough... Since I have one of the rarest celicas that has the dual mode auto in it... Can you help me to make my celica more classy and all, to the extent of how classy and all a vette or Viper or Ferrari or Lambo is... thanks Mica in Celica Mode. |

5 - 10 grand? I'm pretty sure you can make your car look pretty damn nice with that. With 10 grand you could go ahead get a nice kit, rims, paint job, lower it and all that...but hell screw styling. As long as you're spending that much, swap your engine.

please swap your engine first, it will do wonders for how you fell about your car, since you have a 7a-fe you should swap in a 4agze.

1. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... with that said... what you think looks good, others may not. 2. Comparing your car to your ex-bf's and friend's cars is like comparing apples and oranges. 3. You're fixing up your car for yourself and because you want to... who cares what people thinks... just do it... 4. People have posted pics in their profiles, in other posts, etc... start flippin through the pages... check out some car club's websites... etc... 5. Almost any car can be made to look good (as if it wasn't already)... it just depends on your taste and what kind of modifications you do. Again... refer to #4 above... Why would you not want to is the question. I have already spent 2700 and thats just for the basics(rims, intake, tint, alarm). If I had and extra 10,000 I would more then likely spend it on my car. -------------------- i am awesome

what determines "class"? in some peoples eyes, an asian car will never have class. if you are talking like generic automotive "class", then that is defined by italian styling and german engineering. in that sense, a celica will never have "class". but if your are speaking class as in the oposite of trashy, dont buy anything off ebay, only pay 500+ over normal installation costs and wax the car after everytime you go for a drive... and if i had a "classy car" i wouldnt even think of taking dirt roads without a california duster and some quick detail spray, cuz a dirty car is definatly not a classy car.

hhhmmm classy 6th Gen celica..
clean-looking 16/17" rims no loud exhaust or just put a nice chrome tip on the stock exhaust's tip. real leather to cover the seats (get quality leather.. the smell can't be beat) leather covered interior door trims perhaps skip those faux wood/carbon fiber/aluminum trims. Unless you could fabricate some real ones? that would be sweeet... check out this guy's custom-made carbon fiber trims http://www.nemonis.net clean looking head unit (not those multi-colored stuff) - perhaps try Nakamichi or Blaupunkt? deep wool carpets clean and shiny exterior...but not shiny dashboard. That's what I would do if I wanted a classy Celica... thinking about it makes me want one hehe.. good luck |

now i wouldnt say that either man. the celica can be a very rewarding car. it has a great exterior that has a lot of possabilities under the hood too. if you really love the car enough, it is more than worth putting the time effort, and above all money into it. but you really need to have a purpose for dropping that much money into it... i personally couldnt justify dropping 10K+ into a car just to drive it around town, but if it were to be a show or race car then it would definatly be worth it... the reason im kind of against saying "classy" because classy is more of a synonym for luxury... the celica just isnt a luxury car. and dont waste money on a celica... kinda ironic coming from a guy who payed 450 bucks for a set of headlights and you are most certainly right, buying spongebob more booze is much more important and a much better way to blow a few grand... -------------------- Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them all No but I don't buy it Like anything you do, as anyone you are Cause I'm...
