Ok i know this is a dumb thread but im rattling my brain over what to bring for donut day. I dont wanna bring donuts cuz thats what everyone brings each week
Here were my ideas 1. get 25 egg mcmuffins 2. bring in Eggos and syrup - Did that before though Thats about it. Can someone else give me some ideas. I am looking for things outside the box. No bagles, no donuts, no coffee cake, no baking it myself, no fruit. i know some of you will think this is a lame post but too bad. :-P -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

It'd be sweet if they weren't disgusting.
If it's donut day, that's probably why people bring donuts...it's sorta the name of the game, AND the instructions. -------------------- |

Sometimes a really good muffin can be pretty excellent. (but sometimes it can just sit in your stomach like a brick-slash-egg-mcmuffin)
I think pancakes would be awesome. But you don't wanna make stuff yourself, and I don't think frozen pancakes rule at all. What about like biscuits and gravy? I have this theory that jews don't eat gravy... I know I sure as hell don't, it's lumpy and white and just looks positively vomitous, but I know you gentiles love that crap and I think that everyone west of the Appalachians and south of the mason-dixon just LOVES biscuits and gravy. So that's my vote. Biscuits and gravy. -------------------- |

Not everyone - bisquits and gravy but no meat or eggs? Bleh. Actually any meal that has no meat = bleh. Why even bother eating?
I personally like it when they break-up donut day with Kolaches but be sure if you do to get some without cheese [for those very strange people who don't like cheese - mmm - cheese ], some with Jalapenos, and some with ham. I personally think Jalapenos, Cheese and Sausage Kolaches are God's gift to breakfast. In fact I rarely eat breakfast unless it's Kolaches. damn I'm hungry now This post has been edited by DEATH: Mar 26, 2008 - 4:34 PM -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. Bring in fruit, always nice to offer a healthy alternative in these days of high sugar, high carb, and high saturated fat snacks and meals.

You are the anti-Elijiah. You KNOW I'm half Irish and Jewish, surely you MUST KNOW that I have a genetic predisposition against virtually everything you've cited here. WTF is Kolaches? Is this some kind of bizarre Texas anomaly? No wonder you people want to secede from the union! I realize having lived in the upper corners of the US, I might be a little sheltered or biased, but GEEZE! WTF is a Kolache? And WHY on EARTH would anyone want to eat a jalapeno for BREAKFAST!?! Breakfast is a time to rejoice in Bagels and Lox, not some weird mexican Jimmy Dean-fest! -------------------- |
