Oh I'm not trying to buy any... I'm trying to figure out what they are called or what the parts number is so I can give toyota a call. I can only speak of them as hatch support shock thingies..... lol

sweeeeeet... Now I know I can get them. When the car gets running I would like to replace them. The hatch wont even stay open right now. I also am going to try and rig up a way to have the hood open with them. NOT the ones for the hatch... I will do more research when the time comes but I think it would be tight to have the hood open with the struts like that like most new cars....

Yeah thats what Im thinking.... I can build a bracket like its nothing... I just want to do it right the first time. I also need to figure out the locations for the arms to mount and not interfere with anything... my car is at the shop finishing its swap right now so I cant really do anything with it now. If I do put the dampers on the hood I will make a write up...

easiest way to do the front is a single strut on the interior of the engine bay... that way it compresses straight down and you don't have to worry about it folding over itself....
