nice job, very good detail. Is that one of the tamiya kits? I have a GT-Four but have yet to get it together.

Yea it's a Tamiya kit. It's the street GTR, not the racing wide-body one... so it doesn't come with an engine (only the detailed bottom of the engine)

Digged up an old thread for more show and tell tongue.gif (I found MORE images in my HDD!!!!)

Car ready to be sprayed!

A layer of blue... very dull looking after dried

Better looking after a couple layers and a clear coat

I wanted to make the headlights light up, so I drilled 2 holes on each headlight socket for the LEDs

LEDs inside the headlight socket or whatever u call that piece

Car didn't come with an engine, so there's lots of empty space for me to work with wiring up the LEDs

Rear lamp LEDs

The rear lamps are a bit tricky, I just basically glued everything down...

I cut some plastic off the frames to support the LEDs

As for the interior, I didn't do anything special. I just followed all the color codes in the manual

My camera "skills" from back in the days...

You can totally see the brush strokes....

Picture of the bottom of the car..

After polished and waxed, and then put everything together!

Thanks guys smile.gif

The whole thing prolly took me a month? Putting it together doesn't take that long, just the waiting for the primer to dry, waiting for each coat of paint and clear coat to dry, and the masking job took the longest..
