so im driving my car today, everythings normal. boosting nicely, very quick. So i stop at the bank and let the car idle for a bit to let the turbo spool down. . shUt the car off, then went to the bank. came out tried to start it just cranked over , tried starting it for about 10 minutes off and on. wouldnt start. pritty much gave up but tried one more time. and bam starts up awsome. go to get some food. it did the same thing. now its getting fuel i can smell it. it has spark but im wondering if my coil is going bad and im getting a weak spark. at start up . Any ideas? btw if it sit for a while it starts up fine.

I had a similar problem with my previous turbocharged talon, but it would actually run on 3 cylinders for a moment then die, then it would start up fine and drive fine and when I slowed and stopped it would die and a lot of fuel smell. My coil pack was bad and I replaced it and that was that. A buddy of mine also had a turbo wrx and his temp. sending unit wire was loose and for some reason it would screw up his a/f reading and he'd get more fuel than needed and his car would reek of fuel and idle real low...just some thoughts. Good luck.
