i always went thru the firewall then under all the carpet (strip the interior and run everything, or if i was using 00 gauge cable, i ran under the car zip-tying the cable to the frame.

what i did thats pretty easy, and all you need to remove is a few peices is i started by running it through the fender, along the wire loom under above the splash sheild. So i took the splash sheild out, and brought it up. Then brought it through the grommet near the dead pedal on the drivers side, just cut a small hole. Then i ran it between the plastic and the metal under the steering coloum, through the center console, then to go to the trunk, i slipped it under the carpet between the center console and rear seats. I kept any bulk wire under the seat *just incase i wanted to move the amp any time*, and up to the amp. Then for ground, i just used one of the easy grounding points, like the shock tower or the mount for the rear seats.

When installing audio, you want to keep your power and RCA cables as far away as possible. I ran my RCA down the passenger kick panel and scuff plate to the rear speaker and then under the seat to the trunk. The power cable and amp remote went under the drivers side kick panel, scuff plate and rear speaker. I grounded to the strut tower.
