Would the non-LSD type even be worth it? Does it still have the dual syncro setup? Can you change out the differential to a E-153 LSD type later on? The reason why I ask is I can get a non-LSD type fairly easily in the junkyards here but I can't seem to find the LSD one and I want one - bad. I know exactly what you mean about the s54's gearing pretty tough tranny but just not made for 3S-GTE's powerband.
Plus I do a fair amount of highway miles between cities and I'm sick of the 80mph @ 4K RPMs. -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. (burns too much gas!) and the gears are SO CLOSE together, cant squeeze enough power in between them! how much can somebody find an e153 LSD for? -------------------- |

They're about 6-700. But quite hard to find, also i'm sure you must already know but you'll need to shift cables and such also custom axles.
