Do you know what heel-toe braking is? Aftermarket pedals can definitely make it easier to do this.
Also, the majority of people do it for looks. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Why would you spend money on a loved one? For me this is the same concept. I like having a nice car, and I like for people to think I have a nice car. It makes me feel more important then I really am! Adding things to your car also is an expression of your own personality. You like to stand out from others. Adding pedals is just a small way to add a different style then what you have.

Better grip, so ur foot doesnt slip off when its wet, or just in general sometimes that can happen. Pedals also do get worn, so replacing them for better looking is also a reason.

Yea,these ones had to be drilled on. I don't have any tool that can drill that metal the pedals are made of. They don't just slide on or anything.

You add aftermarket pedals for money. I had a girl confused as hell the other day. She saw my aluminum interior and sad, "why would you do that to your car?" There was no way I could give her an answer she would understand...

Yes, you'd be doing it primarily for looks, as you wouldn't do heel-toe braking in an automatic. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Believe it or not good aftermarket pedals feel much nicer to drive than the stock rubber crap. I drive with light soled shoes on (as ya should), and I can really feel the car through the pedals more.
Plus they look cool! |

I agree with Kamix on the feel. I drive barefoot a lot adn the aftermarket pedals are much better. I feel better control.
For installation, I just used a normal drill bit to drill through the pedals. It did take a little bit of elbow grease to drive it throguh, but it worked in like 10 minutes to do all 3. |
