QUOTE(crash60068 @ Apr 13, 2008 - 7:36 AM) my radiator has a crack in it. has any on had this to them on there car before??? if so what did you do??? there is no such thing as a "fix-in-a-can" additive for a radiator crack. save your money and put it on replacing your radiator. if you replace eveything you should have to spend around 300$ (someone will correct me if i'm wrong ). that includes the radiator, hoses (save yourself more trouble down the road--REPLACE THEM !!!), clamps (always spend the 10$--peace of mind), new thermostat (very optional but while you're in there replace it) and fresh new coolant (you'll probably void the new rad's warranty if you don't do a flush and fill). any idiot (like me !!!) can do the job in an afternoon with a minimum of tools. PS i just did mine last month so if you need any help, just post the questions. we all love to help!! axelr -------------------- |

I know you can get better than oem radiators for $130-140. If you do the work yourself, I can't see it costing over $180-200, (not trying to correct axelrduvirage's response, just want to throw my own bit out there)

There is JB Weld but thats not a fix or solution, it is just a temp solution. Get a brand new radiator.
