I have to vent Options

Last week was very interesting to say the least. One day I go to my car and I find her like this:




They took my wiper blades (one was a crappy summer blade and one was a winter blade off my truck) they also took my 4 blinker housings and my crappy HUB CAPS... Plus if you look closely I got a parking ticket.

It's not too bad though because i have the stock parts still and i bought new wiper blades... hub caps are pointless because my rims go on in a month so I'm just glad they didn't vandalize the celi.

Days later, (keep in mind I've had ACL surgery in both knees already) I twist my knee after practice just shooting around last week and i only feel bones shifting and no pain... so I'm fine right? I play in a game over in maine on saturday and my knee grinds again... I run off the field in my knee brace and I don't feel any pain which id why I felt like I was fine. I got tested today and I don't have an ACL. But whats really weird this time around is that since I had a cadaver ligament tear instead of my own ligament this time around, it was painless. So now that I'm graduating in may, should I really get another acl or just live without one?

You're crazy to live without an ACL. What sport do you play?

I messed up my should in football, but I was a fool by not getting surgery done and I can barely throw the ball 55 yards now. Before I could throw fifty on one knee.

I am sorry to hear that man. I thought I lived in a bad neighborhood and so far, nothing has happened to my car. But I always check on it and never park far from where I can't keep an eye on it. I would seriously EDITED, because I will not display what violent things I would do to someone if they vandalized my car.

Wow...what losers---either someone with another celi or just some dumb kids punk'd them and sold them on ebay or something...but atleast they didn't try to grab your foglights or bust'em up by kicking them or something.

but seriously be glad that they didn't do anything else, cuz there are a billion other things they could have done/taken.

hope it was just some friends playing an April Fool's prank on you. If not, damn them all to Hell. You don't do that to a man's vehicle. As for the ACL...OUCH!!! I now it's almost impossible to suggest this, but have you considered giving up (basketball?) for something less damaging like chess or Battleships?

Thanks for everyones wishes and support. I play lacrosse and since I've lost 3 ACL's in 4 years to it, I think its about time to retire.

But people live their whole lives without an ACL and my new girlfriend hasn't had an ACL for 5 years now so its definitely do-able. Since the ACL I tore came from a Cadaver (dead guy) I tore it without pain. I actually tore it sometime last week and didn't realize it. So I can still do everyday things and some sports.....like straight line sports such as running and biking

My parents health insurance will completely cover the 26k+ surgery if I get it done before I graduate since I'm still a student but I'm going to brazil 5 days after graduation so surgery will most likely wait till I get a job and use their health benefits.

As for the car, theres only one other celica around the area and its driven by a young kid with front end damage and since the parts they stole off my front end are celica specific (put 2 and 2 together)... I have every friend on campus and in town with their eyes open. Even craigslist and ebay have been checked.

The reason why i parked the car like I did was because another car first parked semi close to the sign and due to a snow pile I couldn't fit my car in so I put half of my ass end on the sign.... no tickets for 4 days btw... then i get a ticket out of the blue and my cars missing parts.

I like the comment though on getting a half priced ticket

EDIT: Anyone got clear corners they want to give me a deal on?

Well, add up another 2 and 2. The exact day and time you get a ticket you have a bunch of parts come up missing? I say check out the cops. They can be pretty shady and you know they don't make squat from the job!

Seriously, there are crooked cops out there. I am sure some of them have their own tuner vehicles and such. Some of them could even have 17yr old uncles who want to fix up their cars.
