Ok so heres the deal. Before i sell my celi i wanna put on this newer suspension that i got. (Since im not selling for like another 3 months and i drive alot) Anyways, I have a set up of KYB GR2 struts that already have ebiach sportline springs on the assembly. How do i install these? Ive heard that since i have it all compressed and together already i can just do a few bolts and throw it in. Is that true? I read the HOW sticky but i didnt understand it at all. Can someone please help me out? Pictures are great too!!!! Thanks alot!

take out the old suspension. take note on stuff.
make sure to take out the brake lines and the rear sway bar links. 3 small nuts on top 2 big bolts and nuts on bottom install---just do the exact opposite from the removal -------------------- I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island

Just remove the top 3 nuts and the strut assembly from the hub. Just take out the old and in with the new. -------------------- 98 Celica gt red- totaled deer

Solid walk-through on the techniques and tools required:
http://www.turbomr2.com/MR2/HowTo/Suspensi...ringStrut-1.HTM Since the struts are already assembled, you've skipped over most of the difficulties, but the directions I've linked include issues such as brake lines and proper alignement of the strut mount. |
