i wnat to do th blue led keyring conversion, but come to think of it my key ring never lit up, so i checked and my key ring is black not clear, ...researched and came to find out only the gt's have the clear keyring

so long story short
i want a clear keyring, the ring around the ignition

Just a helpfull hint that the st18X ring is the same
I think their is one in the wreckers here in tassie but i think postage is the problem lol.

u might be able to get one off of a mk3 supra as well. usually alot of those in the scrap yards

i know for a fact that they are the same, but i can't figure out how to wire it up??? help?!

any help wiring it up?? i can't find the wires i need to wire it up... cars a 95 st. and the ring is from a 90gts. fits great but can't find out how to wire it up

Should be a plug around two wires if it is not from a 6gen then you will ned to cut the lights plug.
I just solders the wire and wedged it in to the plug.

But mine is not working right now and it is going back to the "intergrated relay" costly.

ive found a key ring ligth from a 94 gt, but when i tried to install, i noticed something weird
i own a 96 st.
arround the key hole, theres something like this:

its like a ring made of copper wiring.
if you unplug this wiring from the jack, car wont start, dont know why.
can someone help me?

I think thats the pickup loop for the immobiliser.

well if things dont plug up right wh cant you jsut put a led in thier and wire it up to a switch, liek i did in my vents then
