Good work smile.gif. So the only difference between the 2 different sets is that the GST86-B1SS4 set came with the Pillowball top mounts and the DSL36-KUSS2 doesn't? So for the guys who didn't buy the GST86-B1SS4 set, (like me) would only have to buy the Tein top mounts and they would be identical correct? I'm only wondering because of the whole EDFC issue. According to Tein, the EDFC fits only the GST86-B1SS4. So I'm just wondering if the only thing needed to make EDFC compatible with the DSL36-KUSS2 is to install the pillowball mounts as well?

About that difference. Many people say it's the same set just one with upper mounts and second w/o... HOWEVER since I have GST86-B1SS4 set in my hand I do not believe that much. Here is why:

a) adjustment range is different.
GST86-B1SS4
front -24mm ⇔ -70mm
rear -12mm ⇔ -65mm

DSL36-KUSS2
front -29mm ⇔ -60mm
rear 27mm ⇔ -29mm

b) spring rate is different.
GST86-B1SS4:
front 4 kgf/mm
rear 3 kgf/mm

DSL36-KUSS2:
front 7 kgf/mm
rear 5 kgf/mm

c) part numbers for springs are different.
GST86-B1SS4:
front D040-7NC
rear C030-7OC

DSL36-KUSS2:
front SB070-01200
rear SG050-01250

d) EDFC part number is ''different''.
GST86-B1SS4:
EDK05-12140

DSL36-KUSS2:
Not Compatible

Any chance you'll drop it lower? It'll look way better.

I know it would look better but this is the best setting I can have for local street and for my car. Having lower front means problems with speed bumps here kindasad.gif and rear is that high because of my muffler smile.gif. I always rub curbs during parking wink.gif

anyway, coilovers look great wink.gif
i bet it's a big difference comparing to standard suspension
...and possibility to set a camber is perfect for events in Most autodrom wink.gif
