Hi! I got Koni's all round at the mo, but the front drivers side is shot (Adjuster jammed and then started leaking oil) so i took it out and replaced the cartridge with an OEM for the moment (I got it real cheap).

Can I just replace the one strut and be ok?

The rears are absolutely fine as far as I am aware and the front passenger side is still good!

Just got off the phone to them - its out of Warranty! And they reckon I should get both fronts, but im usure if that was just sales talk! wink.gif

The shot shock was first noticed when I was adjusting and the adjuster got jammed and then I notcied the oil, its been getting worse since then! This was around 7months ago!

I guess I could just buy the one, and when i instal it I'll take the other side out and check it out for wear!!!! and then decide!!!

Yeah! But still my question remains - Is it viable to just replace the faulty one or do i definately need to do both at the same time?

It's good practice to change both sides, same with springs. Old and new don't perform the same. That's in an ideal world anyway and he has to say that to cover himself if anything happened. But if you can't stretch to buying two don't worry too much about it.
